Man Fleeing Police on Motorcycle Dies in Crash
A 53-year-old man who was fleeing Barberton police on a motorcycle on Monday died from his injuries after crashing into a car. Authorities are urging anyone with information to call the Barberton Police Department.
19-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Crash with Van
Separately, a 19-year-old motorcycle rider died after he crashed into a van Sunday evening in Summit County. The crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Brittain Road. The victim has been identified by the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office as Ethan Jones of Akron.
Police are still investigating both incidents and have not released further details at this time.
